Library
Our library has a large range of engaging fiction, non-fiction, and picture story books. All classes have a timetabled weekly library lesson in the library taken by the English or Reading teacher. A developmental program of library skills, literature appreciation and research skills are taught. Children are encouraged to borrow books weekly.
ICT Lab
There are 2 ICT labs, one for Primary level students and the second for middle and high school level students, who require faster and more efficient computers. The ICT lab is also fitted with an interactive board and projector allowing for maximum practical methods of teaching. Computer knowledge in the education sector plays an important role, empowering learners to use technology to compliment the learning process. Teachers are encouraged to use ICT in education in order to enhance learning methods.
Science Lab
Fully equipped Chemistry and Biology labs that contain all necessary materials and resources necessary to conduct practical activities and exams in the Sciences.
Both labs have 12 individual workstations each equipped with Bunsen burners and sinks. The labs are stocked with reagents stands and all the necessary subject related equipment. Acids and other harmful chemicals are stored in a locked cupboard to which only the lab assistant and head teacher have access. The room is well ventilated, and gas cylinders are stored in a hazard containment cupboard.
Digital Classrooms
The school has provided interactive whiteboards and projectors in all classrooms from Year 6 to Year 13. LAN ports are given in each classroom for controlled internet usage by students and teachers.
Football Ground
A state-of-the-art 9v9 football field that we use to train our school football teams. We have both junior and senior as well as girls’ and boys’ teams. The field is also used for handball practice as well as other outdoor field sports. Our Primary and Pre-primary students use the field during sports day, where students compete with each other in various athletic events.
A tournament that most students look forward to is the interhouse football competition to see which team lifts the trophy at the end of it!
Multi-purpose gymnasium
A well-equipped indoor multi-purpose gymnasium where we concentrate on athletics, gymnastics, and other indoor team sports. The students also learn about the rules and tactics behind team sports which help in development of their interpersonal skills and develop their first signs of leadership.
The multi-purpose hall is made to play the following sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Netball, Dodgeball and Badminton. We also have multiple athletics training equipment such as the buck horse, balance beams, springboard, gym mattresses, climbing ropes and wooden ladders.
Playground
A completely synthetic grass covered playground area for pre-primary and primary level students. The area is cushioned with foam padding underneath the grass to decrease impact and avoid serious injuries. This is an area for kids to improve their physical health and help develop their Gross Motor Skills.
The playground consists of an open area for ball and team related games and sports as well as a sperate area with swings, slides, seesaws and other active playground equipment.
Montessori Activity Room
The Montessori activity room is simple cosy space with several toys and activities that your child will enjoy. It has everything displayed nicely at the child’s level. It also includes some open space with tricycles and gymnastic equipment. We use toys that promote engagement over entertainment and have a set place for items to create routine. It also includes an Interactive Smart Tablet that children can use to draw and get their dedicated screen time for Nursery rhymes.
Music and Dance Facilities
The school has both an auditorium and Music/dance room. The music room includes multiple instruments and a sound system. The music room is devoted for students to showcase their instrumental and singing talent along with it being a space to practice dance as well.
The school consists of a 120-seater auditorium with a stage and sound system on the third floor. The multipurpose gymnasium on the ground floor, with the capacity to seat approximately 350 people, is also available for bigger exhibitions and performances.
Visual Arts Studio
We have an equipped visual arts room, with space for up to 10 easels for budding painters and sketch artists to develop their skills. We have a range of different materials for learners to develop their familiarity with different methods and the room is also equipped with a projector and interactive board, permitting for the use of technology in visual art learning.
